Stunt pilot flies plane through two road tunnels
Stunt pilot Dario Costa of Italy became the first pilot to officially fly an aircraft within a tunnel at the Tunnel Pass system near Istanbul, Turkey. The feat took place in two tunnels on the Northern Marmara Motorway, Catalca Mevki. Castro flew through the 1,160 metre second tunnel at an average speed of 245 km/h before emerging after a time of 43.44 seconds spent flying in the two tunnels.
